And because of this, most of us take advantage of the many promotions as well as deals and coupons and discounts being offered by many shops. All these terms, when heard will surely delight us and give smile on our face. But did you know that even though they entice us with the very same proposals, they also differ in meaning?

Deal - to have to do with; to buy or sell

Discount - A reduction from the full or standard amount of a price or debt. The act or an instance of discounting a bill of exchange, note, or other commercial paper.
